The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 24,187 up 408 points,
while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,359 up 137 points.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 2.31% at 10,094, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 2.43% at 10,096.
SBI, BHEL, ICICI Bank, Adani Ports, Hero MotoCorp, Axis Bank and Tata Steel are among the gainers, whereas M&M, Coal India, Wipro and TCS are losing sheen on BSE.
Some buying activity is seen in banking, finance, industrial, telecom, realty, oil and gas and auto sectors on BSE.
