Shares
of Sun TV Network surged 10 percent as most exit polls have predicted that the
DMK-Congress alliance may win the state elections in Tamil Nadu. Chennai-based
Sun TV owned by Kalanithi Maran (grandnephew of DMK President M Karunanidhi) is
seen gaining high revenue growth when DMK is in power.
The scrip opened at Rs. 402 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 430.95 and Rs. 402 respectively. So far 2089922(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15497.2 crore.
