Today 4 Th of December The market continued to see consolidation after touching record high in the early trade. The Sensex is up 83 points at 28,526. The Nifty is up 11 points at 8,549.

The broader markets are out-performing the Nifty. The CNX Small-cap index is up 0.8 per cent at 5,345. The CNX Mid-cap index has added 0.4 per cent at 12,728. The Nifty Junior has gained 0.2 per cent at 18,959. The CNX FMCG index continues to trade on a stellar note - up 3.2 per cent at 20,962.

The market breadth has turned slightly positive in the noon deals. Out of 1,733 stocks have traded on the NSE - 803 stocks have advanced, while 682 stocks have declined.
