The BSE
Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.29% at 9,678, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is
trading up 0.42% at 10,836.
Some
buying activity is seen in Capital goods, FMCG, consumer durables, banking,
metal, IT and realty sectors, while Power and auto sectors are showing weakness
on BSE.
Infosys,
Dr Reddy's Lab, TCS, Wipro, Gail, ONGC and Reliance are among the gainers, whereas
M&M, Tata Power, Bharti Airtel, BHEL, Hindalco, Tata Motors and Axis Bank
are losing sheen on BSE.
The
Federal ended its monthly bond purchase program. "On balance, a range of
labor market indicators suggests that underutilization of labor resources is
gradually diminishing," the Fed's policy panel said. "The committee
continues to see sufficient underlying strength in the broader economy,"
it said.
ICICI
Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Bharti Airtel will be in focus as these companies would
announce its quarterly results today. ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Bharti
Airtel are trading flat on BSE
Yes Bank
Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs. 4825.40 mn for the quarter ended September
30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 3711.30 million for the quarter ended September 30,
2013. The stock was up 2% at Rs 651.45.
